Gibson Wines is a family owned Barossa Valley winery with over twenty years of history producing premium wines which are unique, scarce and fiercely local.

Visiting Gibson brings back the heart and soul to cellar door experiences. At the Northern end of the Barossa just outside of Light Pass, you will uncover this hidden gem.

You might notice there is no ‘Cellar Door Sales’ sign above the front door. That’s because we’d rather be remembered as place where good living and the good life happens.

You’ll meet real people whilst you’re here. Barossa locals. People who can share the secrets on how to live like one. More often than not, you’ll also meet our family.

Because it’s the Gibson family, that for more than 25 years, has made a commitment to keeping down-to-earth in Barossa winemaking. We are the home of The Dirtman, after all.

At the centre of a 5-acre patch of vineyard, our humble cellar door sits alongside an 1850s mud and straw walled cottage. An artifact of the Barossa’s early European settlers, it opens to a generous lawned area and alfresco, often home to live music and pop-up food events.

So drop in to Gibson. Discover a secret place. And don’t mind the dog, Moose. He’s cunningly aware of those heading home with (or without) a few bottles in hand…
